Recently we made a few appearances at some local colleges and universities trying to help students understand the power of Paid Surveys and how they could help them earn “easy” money to help with college expenses.
I have always believed that easy money is the best money, especially when you are a starving student trying to get through school. After a few hours of speaking to students it was apparent that they were more willing to give Paid Surveys a try, now that they completely understood how they worked, that it was safe, and that it was easy…
We even had a few of them excited cause they could take them in class while their teacher was lecturing. We do not, however, recommend this.

Every time I get a survey from Pinecone Research, I am reminded of how lucky I am to be a member of their panel. For those of you who don’t know, Pinecone Research and their management are real sticklers on who they allow in their panel. I was fortunate enough to find a link to their registration page on day about a year ago. Since then, I have had the privilege of taking some of the best designed, most interesting, and greatest surveys.

I started my career in the market research industry working for one of the top survey companies on the internet today. If anyone knows of the legitimacy of online survey companies and how they work, it is me! The internet has been plagued with thousands of Paid Survey offers. How would one know which companies are legitimate and actually pay for participation. This is a very good question and a question often asked by the visitors to my website, Survey Inferno. The thing is, there are many different market research companies that are willing to pay you for your opinions, you just need to find the right ones. If the survey company is registered with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or with TRUSTe, run with it. They are the companies that are legitimate and will pay you for your time taking their surveys. If you follow these other steps you will have greater success making money with online surveys.
1. Begin by creating a separate email account that you will use to register with the different survey companies. GMail is by far the best choice of email account. They have the highest deliverability rate meaning that more survey invitations will reach your in box, when compared to Hotmail and Yahoo. If you want the most survey invitations, GMail is the way to go.
2. After your new (survey dedicated) email address is set up, you need to register for as many survey companies as you can. A detailed list can be found at http://www.surveyinferno.com. The more survey companies you register with the more money you will make.
3. Give the survey companies accurate information and fill out any additional profiles that they ask for. When I worked in the the market research industry the single most important thing I told our panelists was to fill out all of the profiles accurately and keep them updated. This is because the survey companies decide who to send the surveys to based off of the information they have about you. If you want the greatest number of survey sent to you, surveys that you actually qualify for, you must do this and update them frequently!
4. Stay on top of every survey invitation. If you start slacking in your survey taking, you will be sent fewer survey invitations. If you don’t take them for more than a few months, you will be opted out completely. The survey companies reward those who are active in taking surveys with more surveys. Besides that, the more surveys you take, the more money you will make.
5. Last but not least, HAVE FUN! The surveys you will take are fun and definitely interesting. If you are in need of some extra money and have some free time on your hands, then taking surveys is for you!

We have noticed over the last few weeks that the number of surveys that a user receives from each company continues to increase. The longer you have been a member of these companies and the more information you have given them in your profiles you will get more survey invitations. The market research industry continues to grow each day with many companies taking advantage of being able to collect data from the members of the survey companies. This is a multi million dollar industry and it continues generate more revenue at the months go on. Take advantage of these survey companies now, the longer you wait, the more money you will miss out on.
